- Enhance their ability to communicate with colleagues and peers regarding legal issues that affect the workplace
- Gain familiarity with contemporary legal issues facing the US and the world
You can earn the MSL degree online in two years on a flexible, part-time schedule.
Online MSL courses are delivered asynchronously by renowned Pitt Law faculty and industry experts, with discussion forums and optional weekly live sessions to help you connect with peers and professors.
The 30-credit curriculum includes 15 credits of foundational coursework tailored for non-legal professionals and attorneys seeking a comprehensive refresher. The year-long program begins in late August or early January. Students take one course at a time in a pre-set order. Students complete the second 15 credits by taking one of our online certificate programs in Corporate Compliance, Health Care Compliance, Human Resources Law, or Sports, Entertainment, and Arts Law.
