Marlee S. Myers represents publicly traded and entrepreneurial start-up companies in US and international transactions. She advises boards of directors, executives and founders on a wide range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, angel and venture finance, initial and follow-on public offerings, and strategic alliances. Founding partner of Morgan Lewis's Pittsburgh office, Marlee has consistently been listed as one of the “Best Lawyers in America” across multiple disciplines, including corporate governance, M&A, securities/capital markets, corporate compliance, and technology law, and in Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business.
Marlee is an Emerita Trustee of the University of Pittsburgh and serves on the board of the Pittsburgh Symphony and the Board of Advisors of The Wolfe Companies. She previously served for many years on the boards of directors of the Pittsburgh Technology Council and UPMC. In addition, she was the co-founder and founding board chair of the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy, and currently is a Director Emerita of that organization.
Marlee has won many recognitions and awards, including being named a Distinguished Alumna of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and The Dietrich School of Arts & Sciences; selected by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette as one of the city’s top 50 business leaders; twice selected as an ATHENA Award finalist by the Pittsburgh Chamber of Commerce; honored as one of Pennsylvania's Top 50 Women in Business; twice received a Pittsburgh Business Times Business Women First Award; received the Woman Leader Award by the Global M&A Network; recognized for lifetime achievement by The Legal Intelligencer; and designated by the National Diversity Council as one of the “Most Powerful and Influential Women of Pennsylvania”.
