Bill is a Partner and Vice-Chair of WH Burkley’s Bankruptcy & Restructuring Group, advising clients in matters involving bankruptcy, insolvency, asset sales, litigation and real estate. He regularly represents debtors, buyers and sellers of distressed assets, receivers and trustees, statutory committees and various other parties involved in distressed situations. Bill also serves as a mediator for multi-party disputes.
Bill strives to provide solutions to clients in complex and often distressed situations. With over 20 years of experience handling challenging matters, Bill looks to find practical solutions and positive outcomes – while ensuring clients utilize their full legal rights for both transactions and litigation.
In addition to his law practice, Bill serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law where he has taught Secured Transactions (Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code) since 2011.
