John P. Gismondi, A Celebration of Teaching
The University of Pittsburgh School of Law is pleased to announce a special recognition event, and reception will be held to honor John P. Gismondi (Law '78) for his 40 consecutive years of teaching Trial Advocacy to our students.
Immediately in advance of the program, the Law School, along with their co-sponsor, The Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County and the ACBA, will offer a special two-hour CLE which, quite appropriate to the occasion, will focus on trial tactics.

Roslyn M. Litman Endowed Professor of Law in Civil Liberties Investiture & Symposium
The University of Pittsburgh School of Law is hosting a symposium honoring the life of Roz Litman (Law ’52). The day will bring together distinguished scholars, advocates, and members of the Pitt Law community for conversations examining the First Amendment, LGBTQ+ rights, women’s rights, and the continuing importance of civil liberties.
The event will also celebrate Professor Greer Donley's appointment as the inaugural Roslyn M. Litman Endowed Professorof Law in Civil Liberties, recognizing her distinguished scholarship and leadership in reproductive health law.
The program kicks off at 8:30 a.m. with opening remarks. The panel presentations begin at 8:45 a.m., followed by the investiture at 2:15 p.m. Lunch will be provided.
